It has two roomy pockets to hold your personal equipment as well as room to carry away your trash as well as your share of nuggets. The deepest pocket holds our Sierra Nugget Tray JS-PP | |
| THE TRINITY BOWL The Trinity bowl is a no-break polypropylene plastic; it has a UV additive built into the plastic to keep it from fading in the sunlight. These are features that I felt were important to have in a pan that is guaranteed for life. The Trinity bowl is very easy to use FOR THE BEGINNER AS WELL AS A SEASONED PANNER. It does take some time to get used to the panning concept but once easily mastered it is very simple. The Trinity Bowl is made in 2 distinct colors, BLUE, and GREEN, I have a lot of people ask which is my favorite, and I must say that it is BLUE, the color of BLUE that I chose is actually called a Midnight Purple, the gold really jumps up off the plastic, it is really easy to see even the real finest of gold the flour gold is really easy to see as well. The Trinity Bowl is designed for moving many pans full of material before you do a clean up. So you can say the Trinity bowl is a production pan, for moving volume amounts of pans full to very minimal clean ups. I will now go over some useful tips that I tell people when they ask about how the Trinity Bowl is used. First you want to get a pan full of material, fill the pan full of water and start to stratify the material and get it all in a liquid state. This is the time when we want the Gold to slide down the raised center to the round circular bottom, when the Gold gets to the circular bottom it will make its way around and drop into the trap. Once the Gold is in the trap it is TRAPPED. And it not going anyplace here is a picture of the Trap
Now that you have all the Gold in the trap you are ready to wash off you waste gravel and rocks, you do this by moving all of that material to the base of the large riffle side, Once you have all the large material at the base of the large riffles wash them out of the pan like you normal do in a conventional gold pan.
Now you will notice that the trap is also filled with black sand that is great we want the black sand in there as well we want it there to help hold the gold in the (30 recessed riffles) in the bottom of the Trap,
Now when you are washing the gravels out of your pan there are 3 reversed rifles at the base of the larger riffles. Those three reversed riffles are a (safety feature) they act just like sluice box riffles any gold that did not drop into the trap will jump out behind these three reversed riffles and not be washed out. So it is possible to wash off the waste rock and gravels a lot easier and faster than in a regular conventional gold pan. Here is a picture of the three reversed riffles, I also call them troughs.
Now that you have washed off all the waste rocks and gravels you want to checks the troughs and see if there is any Gold trapped behind them, if there is take and swirl some water through the troughs and wash the gold into the Trap. Now you have an empty pan except for what is in the Trap, so this is where you are going to fill the Pan up with another pan full of material and follow the same steps that we just covered, and you can continue doing this until you are ready to do a clean up. THE CLEAN UP: Now to some people this is a little tough but once it is mastered people are going to love panning again. Now we are only working the side of the pan that has the trap and the climbing sluice. With the Trap full of material we want to stratify the material from side to side, cover the material in the trap with water and shake the pan from side to side, this allows the gold to drop out into the bottom of the trap and into the (30 Recessed riffles) once that is completed the top martial in the trap is waste and can be washed out of the pan through the rising sluice. To do this you dip the pan in water and submerse the sluice below the water line and move the pan in a side to side motion allowing water to come in and out of the pan. Now that you have washed out most of the waste material out of the trap it is time to work out the bulk of the black sands out of the trap as well. Now to do this is where it becomes tricky, you want to submerse the sluice below the water line and move the pan from side to side, IT IS IMPORTANT TO GO SIDE TO SIDE, the material should be moving back and forth in the trap ((Not in and out but from side to side)), this allows the gold to really have a chance to drop out and into the sluice channel and flare of the sluice. NOW AT THE SOME TIME YOU ARE DIPPING AND RAISING THE PAN IN AND OUT OF THE WATER. This allows water to come into the pan and washes out though the sluice, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER SIDE TO SIDE AND UP AND DOWN IN THE SAME MOVEMENTS. Once this is accomplished the black sand concentrates will flow right out of the pan and the gold sits right into the flare of the sluice. Now you continue doing this until you are left with nothing but your gold. It is really an easy way of panning once it is mastered it makes panning so much more fun. Now to get the gold out of the pan take a snuffer bottle and sniff up the gold off of the platform the large flat area in front of the first sluice riffle and continue moving the gold onto the platform until you have retrieved all the gold. |

| What's different about the Gold Rush Pro Series™ Gold Pan? Specific improvements over all other gold pans: Agitation is the primary function of settling heavy minerals in a slurry of water and gravel. When a mixture of water, sand and gravel are agitated, the particles are put into a state of suspension. This opens spaces between the individual particles allowing heavier minerals the gap or room to move down and through the other common particles. 1. Full diameter flat bottom - Spreads material out thinner allowing more rapid stratification of the aggregate. Thinner material gives gold less distance and therefore less time in order to settle to the bottom. 2. Agitation knobs - These create more effective agitation. While the pan is being worked from side to side, front to back and in a circular motion the knobs collide with the water and particles. This creates more agitation of the material than a standard smooth bottomed gold pan. 3. A more vertical side wall - All other pans have low sloped sides. This allows material to move up and down the walls of the pan while creating little obstruction unto which agitation could occur. The Gold Rush Pro Series Pan has sides that are nearly upright. This creates a wall that forces the material to change directions abruptly, creating even more agitation. 4. Skewed cylinder design creates multiple functions. a) A reverse cut or trap on one side. This allows heavy minerals to be trapped while aggressively shedding lighter waste material. b) A transitional section between the reverse cut side and the open cut side that allows the material to be gradually upgraded or super concentrated. c) A Open cut or outward tilting side. This allows for a finishing section to work the upgraded concentrates down to clean gold or precious metals. d) A thin horizontal rib in the finishing section allows precious metals to remain behind the rib so black sands can be more quickly panned off. e) A completely smooth section in the finishing area for cleaning up super fine gold. The combination of all these improvements is a gold pan that captures, concentrates and cleans gold and precious metals faster, easier, and more accurately than any other pan in history, that's why it's Patent Pending! Through it's State of the Art design this pan allows everyone to be fast and accurate at panning gold! No other pan even comes close! |
